Florida Community of Mindfulness

The St. Petersburg Sangha now meets Wednesdays from 7PM to 8:45PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church near downtown St. Petersburg. This is a warm, comfortable gathering where you can practice sitting and walking mindfulness meditations, guided meditations, and a Dharma discussion, guided by members of the Florida Community of Mindfulness, with an opportunity for questions and answers. The address is 719 Arlington Avenue North. You can find the Sangha in Gilmour Hall, which has an outside entrance that is located to the right (up the ramp) of the main church entrance.  The church faces Mirror Lake and the parking lot is on the north side of the church. Please check the church web site for directions.

Yoga Alliance

The Yoga Alliance was started in 1999 as a way to create nationally recognized standards for yoga teachers. More and more studios across the US are requiring their teachers to register with the Yoga Alliance. The Yoga Alliance registration, however, is not a legal requirement for teaching yoga.
