Denise Glueck:
LMT &
Founder

Denise is the Founder of Yoga Moves. Her style is eclectic drawing from many traditions and 30 years of practice. For the last 10 years, Denise has studied with Senior Iyengar Teacher Karin Stephan from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Embracing the therapeutic approach to yoga, she weaves the principles of balance and alignment with mindfulness, breath, and movement into a free flowing class. Students are encouraged to explore their edge with gentleness, yet she challenges her students to contact their power. Using the poses to connect with the earth and open the heart, the breath to expand the vital life energy, and meditation to free the mind and connect with spirit.

Denise brings her awareness of asymmetries and observations of imbalance to the massage table. Whether you choose Thai massage, Bhakti or a simple scalp and face massage, you will walk away feeling more balanced, and more positive about yourself and your life.

Tara Tomerine:

200-Hour RYT

To make an impact teaching, it is important to continue developing as a student. Immersed in the 500-Hour Yoga Alliance studies for over a year, I am thankful to have acquired life-changing tools from wonderful teachers and students alike. I believe the certification comes in making a difference and in living a life of purpose.

Passionate to contribute to the health and happiness of others, I love sharing my yoga studies to alleviate the stresses of everyday life. My classes integrate the fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga, emphasizing proper body alignment via the use of props to find comfort and ease. The practice of yoga relieves painful weight from joints, releases tension knots, and lengthens and strengthens the muscles and the spine. A little movement creates a lot of space, which is freedom from pain. While a long exhale, extends our reach and often serves as the bridge to peace.

The authenticity preserved at Yoga Moves remains dear to my heart. A smile is the best stretch of all.

Cheri Frady:

200-Hour RYT

Cheri began practicing yoga in 1989 when she became interested in holistic health. In 2004, she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Medications were prescribed having many potentially dangerous side effects. She was told by physicians that there were no natural ways to deal with RA and if she did not use medicine, she would be in a wheelchair within 3 to 5 years. Discouraged, Cheri turned to her own research and changed her diet to help control the RA onsets. By practicing yoga to maintain movement in the body, she grasped onto relief.

Cheri completed her 200-Hour RYT at The Lotus Pond in 2007. In addition, she is certified thru the Yoga Ed Teacher Program to share the gifts of yoga with children. With a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Eckerd, Cheri incorporates yoga into her fourth grade classroom while offering weekly yoga classes to the teaching staff. Cheri is eager to bring her passion for improving lives thru yoga into the studio.

Organic gardening, meditation, kayaking, walking the Native American path, and yoga are the ways that Cheri lives life in harmony of body, mind and spirit.
