Yoga Nidra (sleep) We will begin Yoga Nidra with simple restorative yoga poses to open and relax the body/mind. Restorative yoga uses props to support the body in gentle back openers and inversions. Yoga Nidra is translated as sleep. Allow yourself to be coaxed into a deep relaxation. All the organs and senses of the body are rested in a way that sleep seldom provides. The blood pressure is normalized, the immune system is strengthened, and the brain relaxes and cooperates better. Thus, the senses are sharpened and you feel invigorated.  Imagine a 45 minute deep relaxation! Ahhhhhh...
